SUNSHINE RUNNING!
  • Nineteen-year old runner searching for a life full of veggies and sunshine. For the past six years, I've been recovering from a disease that paralyzed me. I don't know why I was paralyzed, or why I got to chance to walk, and then to run again, but I can honestly say that I have never been stronger or more thankful to be alive. I would love to talk to you about running, food or whatever's on your mind:] //

In conclusion, the most important stay-healthy tip at college:

  1. Sleep.

I swear sometimes making good choices like eating healthily and exercising in college seems impossible if you have a life and keep up with work. Almost everyone seems to be gaining the freshman fifteen and struggling. Being unhealthy seems inevitable.

But do not despair. There IS something that helps an ENORMOUS amount in decision making and mood. And this is being well rested. 7-8 hours.

I swear on this.

Reminder

Don’t be hard on yourself.

So what if you didn’t eat perfectly? That’s what, 1 percent of your total week’s worth of delicious healthy food you can eat.

Remember the big picture and know you can’t fail at healthy living because its forever, and not some quick fix.
